Provincial competitions are held in Junior, Intermediate and Senior Levels in:

- Brass*
- Classical Guitar*
- Jazz
- Modern
- Piano*
- Speech and Dramatic Arts
- Strings*
- Tap
- Voice*
- Woodwinds*
* There are also "Senior National" Classes in Piano, Voice, Strings, Classical Guitar, Woodwinds, and Brass. The winners of these classes are eligible to proceed to the National Competition of Music Festivals. Dates for Senior Nationals will be announced later.
